Politician News Interview

"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. "

"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." - Psalm 118:8-9

Jesus is truth, he is inseparable from it, therefore Christians should strive to know what is true at all times. Jesus said:

“Take heed that no one deceives you." - Matthew 24:4

Well then, let's 'take heed' and test everything told us, either by 'princes' (government) or 'man' (the world), to see if it is true. Otherwise, we may fall for a lie, or worse partake in it.

We must overcome our FEAR of ridicule, of breaking the consensus and not just sit on the fence for a quiet life.

As a Christian lockdown skeptic I believe the extreme measures taken by governments are inhumane, oppressive and unjustified. Liberty must be restored without predjudice or infliction of any other measures that would inhibit a return to normal life.

The response to the pandemic does not justify fear without end, it does not justify the stripping of our liberties, it does not justify the forced separation of loved ones and cruel isolation of the elderly. It does not justify the cost of lockdowns - the increase in suicides, domestic abuse, mental health problems, job losses, the rise in poverty, damage to livelihoods and the legacy it will create.

The imposition of these rules, restrictions and other measures may cost more lives than they arguably save.

We must ask ourselves, what are we participating in? Does this come from God? Is this how God want us to live? If prayerfully, the answer is NO then we need to make changes and break the 'yoke of oppression' being put on us.

About Me

My name is Stephen Clarke, I came to the Lord when I first desired to know the truth. I've had a somewhat unconventional walk, usually on the periphery. I believe the Lord has turned this to his purpose. I feel blessed in many ways and grateful.

I believe the Bible is the inspired word of our God and that his son Jesus is the full revelation of his love and grace towards humanity. Christ is the only route to salvation and the door through which we must enter to be saved. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is coming soon. Amen.
